Caking Art has three options for purchasing our beginner courses:

Each course can be bought individually with the price listed by the course description. When you purchase an individual course you will have access to it forever!

Our second option is to become a Monthly member. No commitment, cancel when you want and get a big discount on your courses!

Thirdly, you can become a Yearly member. Pay for the year upfront and get an even bigger discount on your courses!

Yes! We offer courses at every level whether you are at a beginner or advanced level, you can start and work your way up. We also make every course easy to follow with step by step instructions, so you can work at your speed to create even the most intricate of cakes.

With each course you purchase you will receive in depth video instruction on how to create the cake offered. Along with the video you will receive a supply list for each lesson as well as recipes and any templates required to create the cake. 

Once you’ve purchased a course, you’ll need to log in to your school or myTeachable account in order to access your course.

When you enroll in a course, you’ll receive an email confirmation that contains a link to the course. You can use this link to open your course, or you can type the school or course page URL into the address bar of your web browser.

If you experience issues logging in or accessing your course, refer to Login Issues or contact the school owner.

When you signed up for the Caking Art school you should have received an email labeled access course. Once you have signed up and confirmed your email you can login by going to courses.cakingart.com. Click login on the top right of the homepage, you will be directed to input your account information and should be able to successfully login. For any troubleshoot issues contact info@cakingart.com.

For those who purchased the monthly subscription through our kit purchasing website, we use a separate system, stripe, for the subscriptions so they do not show up on the school site. You will know if you are enrolled in the monthly if you see a course with (Monthly) written after it. To edit or cancel the subscription you can email info@cakingart.com.

You may cancel your subscription at anytime. Once you cancel your subscription, you will no longer have access to the courses you have enrolled into.

For those who joined through purchasing a Kit you can email info@cakingart.com for a copy of your receipt.

For all courses and subscriptions we offer refund requests within the first 30 days. All clothing and kits are final sale.

Teachable’s refund policy for students makes it mandatory for school owners to fulfill refund requests within the first 30 days of purchase if using the Teachable platform to handle payments. Learn More

After 30 days has passed from time of purchase. Refunds are not available.

Shipping costs vary for each region. Shipping is free for all kits!

Typically Standard shipping can take 5-8 Business days. Expedited shipping can take 3-5 business days. 

No, all customers are responsible for return shipping. We recommend shipping your item(s) back with insurance and keeping your shipping receipts & tracking number until your return is processed.

We do not accept returns on products that were correctly printed and delivered on time.

We make every effort to ensure the quality of our products. As a commitment to our goal of meeting the highest quality standards, we offer a money-back guarantee on garments that do not meet our quality standards.

We will credit your account when any one of the following occurs:

1) Low quality print: the print washes away after a few cycles in the washing machine.

2) Printing error: the design printed is materially different from the order and artwork specifications provided to us.

3) Incorrect print specifications: the size or placement of the print is more than 1.0" off from the provided measurements.

4) Missing garments: one or more garments are missing from the order.

We pride ourselves on making you a cake that is a one of a kind piece of art. Prices are determined by the number of servings required and the amount of design and detail needed for each cake. The minimum order for a tier cake is $750. Three tiered cakes or more start at $1000. The minimum order for a sculpture cake is $1500. The price is then adjusted according to the amount of time required to complete the design. A cake for 25 people that takes 50+ hours to make, will cost more than a simple cake for 200 people that takes 25 hours to make.

It is never too early to contact us about a cake. We recommend contacting us 4-6 months in advance, some clients have even booked a year ahead. But even if you are only a couple of weeks and/or days away from your event we may still be able to fit you in, so give us a call. We have spent many days/nights making last minute cakes;)

Yes, in fact many of our unique custom cakes require our special delivery and on site set up. Delivery fees start at $50/hr and are calculated by the total distance traveled and the amount of time needed to set up the cake on location. We do offer pickup on smaller cakes if requested. We will package your cake and provide instructions to keep it secure in your car. Once a cake is out of our care it is no longer our responsibility.

Once all of the details for your special cake have been discussed and the final designs have been approved, a 50% non-refundable deposit and signed contract are required to save the date. 2 weeks prior to your event, the remaining 50% is due and is non-refundable. All deposits are payable by cash, check or credit card(extra 4% processing fee). If you order a cake within 2 weeks or less of your event, the full payment is due when the contract is signed and is non-refundable.

Yes we do! There is no event too small or too large for us. We believe every celebration requires a beautiful and delicious artistic cake. If you have a specific budget let us know and we will do our best to fit your needs.

Yes! For tiered cakes, we offer the possibility of making some tiers real cake and others styrofoam dummies, to give the appearance of a larger cake. This is also a good option if you have a smaller budget, as the price becomes cheaper when less real cake is used. The same goes for sculpture cakes, for example we can make a large sized dog, but only make some of it cake; In other areas we use rice krispies or other food grade material covered in fondant or modeling chocolate.
